Markus Krausz

Applied Cryptography and Hardware Security

About

I am a hardware security expert at TÜVIT in Germany, where I evaluate the security of cryptographic implementations against physical attacks. In 2024, I obtained my PhD on side-channel security for post-quantum cryptography under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tim Güneysu at Ruhr-University Bochum. My research focuses on highly efficient, and side-channel-secure implementations of (post-quantum) cryptography for embedded devices.

I'm part of the HAETAE submission team. HAETAE is a lattice-based signature scheme and selected for standardization by the Kpqc competition.
